MAN Shoes

As promised, here are my men's shoe favorites for Fall/Winter 2009. I realize that I have been having trouble writing entries on a regular basis. I've just moved, school is starting, and I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things. OK, from now on no more excuses. I am dead set on turning myself into a hardcore blogger! Also, I saw Julie & Julia. Cutest thing in the world.

Lanvin - I think I was drawn to these as my heart is yearning for a riding boot this fall.

Gucci - Normally I find Gucci to be behind the curve on most things, but it's nice to see some detailing here that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Givenchy - These definitely have to be my favorites for the season. If you wore these down the street I'm pretty sure everyone would be looking at you. Stunning.

McCartney, Lagerfeld, & Yamamoto for Rykiel

I know that this is a tad old and I can't help but feel a little out of the loop on this one. Yesterday while surfing style.com I stumbled upon Sonia Rykiel's Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Her 40th anniversary in designing her quirky-chic Parisian looks.

A look by Rykiel. Hell of a runway party!

Stella McCartney for Sonia Rykiel

To top it all off Rykiel's daughter surprised her mother by announcing that she had a gift in store. Turns out thirty high profile designers each created their own version of a Sonia Rykiel creation and sent them down the runway! Beyond fab.

In total between Rykiel and the other designers there were over 100 looks.

Been Months

Hi. It's been a few months. I would like to say that I've been busy, buuut...

Just got back from NY/NJ on Sunday. All Points West was fucking amazing!

Coldplay performing Yellow. It's really become a classic for me.

And now a remix of Yellow that my friend hooked me up with:

Ladies of the Night

Another double header. You guys are so lucky, aren't you?

God, these gals are so cute, but together they sound like they could rip your head off with a single fingernail. This time round it's a lot more electro and edgy! Please, please, please let me know what you think.

Michael Dixon - Get Up, Bang

2. Bang - Rye Rye & M.I.A.
